I like Stoke Road, I lived off it for many
years on Elmhurst Road. My local supermarket
was the Waitrose supermarket, only 1 minutes
walk from my house. The cake counter took
quite a bit of my money, they where the days,
when I could eat cake and not worry about
it. Stoke Road continues on from Gosport High
Street and has many indepent traders and retailers.
You can have a very pleasurable walk along
this street, shopping as you go at many shops
run by their owners.
